What is your return and exchange policy?

+
Frames and lenses may be returned or exchanged within a defined period from the date of dispatch, subject to condition. Please contact our office at 718-616-1600 for current policy details and to initiate any return.

Can I use my existing prescription?

+
Yes — we are happy to fill prescriptions written by another doctor, provided they are current (typically within one to two years). We are also pleased to perform a comprehensive examination if your prescription has expired or you would like an updated assessment.

How long does a comprehensive exam take?

+
A standard comprehensive eye examination takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes. We allow generous time so that nothing is rushed and you have the opportunity to discuss findings and ask questions.

Which insurance plans do you accept?

+
We accept many major vision and medical insurance plans. Because coverage varies by plan and procedure, we encourage you to call our office at 718-616-1600 before your visit so we can verify benefits and explain any out-of-pocket expectations.

Do you see children?

+
Yes — we provide eye examinations and care for children, as well as adults of all ages. For very young children, we recommend a brief phone conversation in advance so we can prepare an age-appropriate examination plan.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

+
We endeavor to accommodate urgent concerns the same day when our schedule permits. For non-urgent visits, scheduling in advance ensures you receive the unhurried attention our practice is known for.
